Unarei Saldaña About the Author

Unarei Saldaña, was born in San Antonio, Texas, now resides in Dallas where she has lived for more than 20 years. She co-owns and operates The Labyrinth Metaphysical Herbal Apothecary store in Dallas, Texas. She is a Native American Shaman and Reiki Master Teacher in 3 different traditions- Usui, Karuna and Sechiem. Aside from her practice she enjoys sharing her knowledge of natural herbal remedies, lecturing about Reiki to large groups, and for the Anthropology class at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She also facilitates meditations, self help group circles for women, gardening and spending quality time with her familiar MiMi her beautiful cat. Una, is also the publisher of her monthly online newsletter “Unarei’s Lumionus Letter”, which you will find at www.Labyrinthmetaphysical.net. Twas The Night Before All Hallows Eve, was suppose to be a story she wrote for her readers of her Luminous Letter for the month of October in 2006, but turned out to be a new venture towards a career as a children’s book writer.

Cindy’s passion for creating art goes back to her youth. She has always loved painting, illustrating and creating characters and stories. When she was a kid she remembers telling herself "Never Grow Up," and "Always Imagine." Granted, it took 40 years to realize the importance of those statements made 30+ years earlier. For the past 20+ years she has worked in both the interactive media and advertising arenas creating art. Her path has always led her back to the illustration of children’s books and educational material both interactive and traditional mediums. T’was The Night Before All Hallows Eve has been a wonderful adventure with her friend and creative partner Unarei.
